“ With all the hype, I needed to try Frank Pepe's! Being originally from Philly & NYC I eaten some great pizza. Drove up from Miami Lakes to this very nice shopping, mixed complex! The store is big & airy with indoor & outdoor tables. At 1pm on Thursday it was almost empty. Quick table service by Samantha. I ordered the Three Small Pizza combo at 47 with supplement. These were the meatball & ricotta, the rustic mushroom & sausage & the Special. I asked for light crust! I also ordered the white birch beer from New Haven. Everything came out in about 12 minutes, hot & juicy. We were very pleased with the quality of the toppings & the lightly toasted crust! Took home a lot. My only issue is with the bill! I copied it for you to see. I paid by credit card & added a 18% tip based on the pre-discount subtotal of 53.50. This is a 9.63 tip! After checking the recipe at home I saw 13.38 as the tip!!!! It's a difference of 3.75 & no big deal but I do feel a little ripped-off! ”

The crust a little different, but it seems FL people don't like the usual wood charred dough so one has to say well done to get similar crust to the original branch. The quality is great! Flavor awesome Foxon soda made it a perfect ending to wash down the pizza White clam was awesome - not dry nor mushy. Clams could be tasted Meatball w/ ricotta, had slices of meatball that the kids loved Spinach, shroom, gorgonzola awesome! I missed these since we moved outta CT. Also a great interior for a pizza restaurant and the staff are great. Very professional. The only downside for me is the distance from Aventura. “ A Hidden Gem While Charging My Car! I randomly stumbled upon Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in Plantation while stopping to charge my car with my daughter and wow, what a find! The moment we walked in, it gave off that elevated NY-style pizzeria vibe with a touch of class. Super clean, welcoming, and you could instantly tell they take their pizza seriously. Frank Pepe is known for their original coal-fired pizza and now I totally understand why they've been a staple for 100 years and counting. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable cashier who made us feel right at home. She even told us about their rewards program, which saved us a few bucks on our order—love that! We ordered the Original Tomato Pie with Mozzarella (Crushed Italian Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese, Grated Pecorino Romano & Olive Oil). The crust was thin with that perfect coal-fired char, the tomato sauce was bright and flavorful, and the cheese was super fresh. I added chili flakes and extra parmesan on my half, which gave it a nice kick. My daughter kept hers simple—just cheese—and she loved every bite. We also got an apple juice for her and water for me, keeping it light and classic. The food was flavorful, priced reasonably, and served pretty quickly. All around, a solid experience. Whether I’m in the area charging my car again or just craving some GOOD pizza, I’ll definitely be coming back to Frank Pepe’s. Highly recommend it if you're a pizza lover! ”
